Broken Penises: Everything You Need to Know

These are words I hope you never utter, nor hear. Unnervingly, if the growing mention of penile fracture on Medium and other platforms is any indication, this is a real problem, and something we all need to be aware of.
The good news is that accidental penile fractures are reassuringly rare. About 1 per 175,000 men in the United States. (Accidental? As in, there are instances of intentional penile fracture? Yes… but we’ll get to that in a minute.)
Regardless, the risk of penile fracture remains, even if statistically unlikely. So if you fancy a joyful frolic through what has quickly become one of my worst nightmares, buckle up! Here’s all you need to know about… damaged goods.
First, an Anatomical Overview
