We see each other a couple times per week. Usually a weeknight or two and for a bit of the weekend, if I don’t have my kids. As a single parent with 50% custody, it’s not hard to keep some space, because my schedule is naturally limited.

But even when I don’t have my kids, we’re both good about advocating for our individual time, which keeps us both grounded. Then, the time we do get together is all the more meaningful!
